Why Little Lovebug?

The name Little Lovebug Publishing was inspired by my daughter, Skylar. When she was born, I began calling her “my little lovebug,” a nickname that perfectly captured her sweet and curious spirit. As she grew, Skylar developed a special love for ladybugs - spotting them in books and searching for them outside quickly became one of her favorite things to do. The name brings together both of those heartfelt connections: a mother’s love and a child’s wonder for the small, magical things in the world.
